I have two of the Aircom T8; one on a Marantz SR7007, and surprisingly, the other atop a tubecage of a modified Rogue Atlas Magnum amplifier. I was worried that the tube amp would generate too much heat and cook the bottom of the T8, but that's not the case and the unit(s) work great!
So very happy to have these in my systems!

Thanks from Argentina
I was wondering exactly the same thing. Power amplifiers are tested at their normal operating temperatures. Forced cooling of tubes and heatsinks may prolong operating life but can it also affect the sonic performance?

What is the cooling solution for a McIntosh MC275 MkVI? Best to pull heat away from, not push air to.

Kevin.......I use two 80mm 12 volt fans from CoolerGiys.com with a speed controller to pull air from my two MC75 tube power amplifiers. The speed controller allows me to adjust the fan speed to be inaudible, yet still allows the two fans to pull enough air from the cabinet space to keep temperatures in an acceptable range.
