Default PLINIUS A-150 Anybody heard one?

Just throwing this out there. Wondering what modern day Plinius gear is comparable to if anybody knows. Doesn't seem to be much of anything on the internet at all as for reviews/information. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I get the feeling the new models are just reskinned versions of the older models. I owned the old SA Reference. Brilliant sound but it had a high gain that didn’t match my Audio Research preamps.

The new owner uses a Plinius preamp now and loves it to bits.

Thanks for the input. I have Luxman 900 and ARC REF 10 (Which wouldn't work I guess). I'll have to keep the gain in mind. Could you further elaborate on the sound characteristics? Does it sound similar to any other particular brands I may have heard?

The Luxman seems to have a fairly unique volume control that works well across the entire volume range. I’ve found my Audio Research needs to be cranked up to 30-40 before they come alive.

The SA Reference has great control on bass, slightly warm but beautifully detailed. Does run hot as hell though.

This is exactly how I would describe the SA-103 I demoed as well. That thing was a space heater. Much happier with my Coda amp. Still 100W of Class A, but doesn't heat the room up.
