I did not even remove the LP, but I requested a new copy - waiting to hear back from them. Have any AA-ers who shop ED (I know, not a good acronym) experienced what I have these past few months with LPs not being sealed?

Although their service is good and they replace what they send, I had the same experience as you. The records would show up like they came out of a garage sale dollar bin. Terrible, I'd say 90% of what arrived had to go back. I gave up and switched to a different retailer and have had no issues. I even received a double LP of what was suppose to be Bob Dylan with a different band inside- even though it was "sealed". Draw your own conclusions.

From who are you purchasing your albums now?

I only purchase from AcousticSounds
For the most part, I stick to QRP, MOFI, MPO, and an other presser out of the Czech Republic. I always research the pressing prior to ordering. I refuse to buying anything from United Pressing. AS will take anything back and will even refund shipping as long as you use media mail. I had to send back a Rolling Stones Let it Bleed album, my first to send back to AS. The record was quite bad, it was as though Mic Jagger had a rag in his mouth while singing. Took it back, no questions asked.

Agree. So far, all these years they are good and always arrived new and sealed. Only problem is back order information prior to them changing their website, information were "lost". I had to write in and they did account for them. Am still waiting for the back order arrival though.

Just had a problem with ED sending me the wrong part last month. One e-mail and they made good with no questions ask.
My back-order only took 2-weeks, so not bad.
I'm so cheap I take my usual 1 or 2 per month purchase and put into my cart until I reach the free shipping point. That nets another 1 or 2 LPs per year.

But if you factor in mortality, are you really winning?
