Actually, that's not how a tuner works and that can't happen.

I like the wine analogy. Cheap wine can be vile. But...Is a 2000 Carruades de Lafite more enjoyable than a more recent $20 or $25 Amarone from WTSO? Well, perhaps but IMHO not twice so and certainly not 10 or 20 times so.

The opinion that best suits me is "you don't have to spend a lot, but you have to spend some." DIY cables using DH Labs wire match well to my humble sound machine Their Mirage USB is proving to be as good as any USB I have auditioned. Your Mileage Will Certainly Vary.
With all due respect, you appear to be sporting about $20K with of amplification in your very fine system. Is it 20-40X as good as an NAD or Schiit integrated amp that costs less than $1K? IMHO, no. But I think your amps are worth every penny you spent. Same applies to wine and cables, no?

PeterMusic-

Good Point. Where and what the sweet spot of this hobby is can be an endless series of tough decisions. In the end, all that matters is that one is happy with one's purchases.

Enjoy the Music and the Wine (if you so indulge).

it's always very tempting to buy the "latest and greatest" gear that comes out, a new king on the block every two months or so. I like to read the forums, but try not to be influenced too much with all the raving reviews, most important is that you can enjoy your set and listen to the music you like.

That Danny used Kimber 12TC cables I like. that he added a cotton rope inside I like even better, since I did that with my Kimber 8TC speakerwires.
