You need to move on to a different dealer then, any not willing to discount are just gouging you.

I like the 800D3 with its bigger woofers compared to the 802D3. It looks more right to me after seeing pictures of the the 802D3 which has had me on the fence with the appearance.

Agreed. I know my dealer would discount if I was willing to risk a divorce and order them.

My first visual impression was of two big lips on the front of the body. Or like someone typing in CAPS. Looking forward to additional reviews. I thought someone one here was invited to a hearing in Munich last night.

Interesting 800D3 is .20 inches higher, .90 inches wider and .69 inches deeper.

In person I can see this being a more proportional speaker than originally thought.

200 lbs is still a very heavy speaker.

I just noticed the specs for the 800D3. Frequency response goes down to 15Hz

Maybe someone who knows better than I do can help answer this.

When B&W starts to develop the new 800 and 802D3 do you think the 800D3 is the prototype then it tickles down to the 802D3.

It don't matter. I already know I'm not getting the 800d3.

Then why did the 802D3 come out 6 months before the 800D3?
