Roy.......Sweet rig. The 601's are gorgeous. Lots to be proud of there. Happy listening.

Killergurt, I started with the stand you have for my Mac Ma-6600 integrated amp. I added three Grand Prix Apex isolation feet with a very dramatic effect. Everything got so much clearer. My wife calls them “magic feet.” In fact, it was those feet which took both me and my wife from being tweek skeptics to believers ! We upgraded integrated amps to a Simaudio Moon 700i and later set that on a Grand Prix Monaco amp which then rested on the Apex feet. Again, a very big difference in clarity and cymbals had a more true to life ring to them. Given the quality of your system, I recommend listening to the amp stand and footers. If you want to go with one or the other, I say take a listen to both separately then combined. Be prepared to be in awe and remember your checkbook!

Anyway, that is my story and I am sticking to it ! Enjoy your tunes!!

I just had Arnold at Core Audio Designs build me a pair of these (in black walnut) for my MC2301's. Eagerly awaiting to pick them up at his shop.

Thanks Mikey. So, it took me 10 min to get over the sticker shock but there is still something I don't get: why do they sell them in 3s??? Don't all (most) racks have 4 feet??
