I found one link on the Internet:
http://www.astrasuite.com/astrablog/...ith-resistors/

Looks like the resistors are installed into the two far left holes on the back of the unit.

I had the ends of my resistors cut back so they don't stick out of the back of the unit. That way you can put the cover back on. I purchased my AF used and it came with a bunch of various resistors. I ended up preferring the 100 ohm jumper in my MC stage. The AF is a great phono stage.

I ordered a bunch of cheap .25w resistors from here:
http://www.partsconnexion.com/resist...rter_watt.html

If I find there are a pair I like best, then I'll order a more expensive pair and also give those a try. I'll also cut back the wires so they don't stick out the back of the unit.

If a Lyra will be used, they like and perform better with higher loading and they prefer a cable with low capacitance. Follow the mathematical instructions that Lyra suggests....

I had a high capacitance cable with my Delos and loading at 121 ohms, sounded much better than 100 ohms. Then I dived into understanding loading and Lyra carts, bought a really low cap cable under 90pf, set loading at 380 ohms and the resolution, dynamics blew my socks off!! I too thought 100-120 ohms was theee setting, I was wrong.

There is some great stuff out there by JCarr explaining why, basically too low loading will make the cart work harder and possibly stiffening the cantilever. Anyhow, that is my experience with loading specifically with my Delos.

Enjoy that phono stage!
