Beatlebum - I really like the black-on-black color scheme. I have the gold-on-black version to match my other Inspire gear. Yours looks like it is all business.

I have another tube preamp that works great with both amps.
Consider trying a 6BL7 or 6SL7 in the LP27a before you sell it. More gain.

Me too. Is that an LED in the toggle switch? I don't know if you are aware but you can run two different tubes in the PSE. Like a pair of KT77 with a pair of KT88's etc. Very cool.

Nice red chassis. Going to be a beautiful amp.

My amp is black. I think I'd like it to be a metallic orange. I've always wanted a metallic orange bicycle and have never had one.

Hey thanks for the kinds words gents and I cannot wait to see and hear it, hopefully tomorrow!

I did know that you can mix and match output tubes in the PSE. I really like the 6L6's that are now in my IFA-1 so I had Dennis voice this new PSE with KT66's in the hopes that it will offer more (and better) of the same sonics that the 6L6's offer.

One PSE owner likes Pope 6V6's with GL KT77's. I lean toward 6L6's too.

Funny you would say that. I ordered a custom bicycle in metallic orange about 20yr ago. After 2+ years of waiting I gave up and purchased a Serotta.
