Douglas, methinks it's time to remove the word "humble" from this thread title. Excellent system you've built.

I have made a few changes to my system. I bought the Rega RP8 with Apheta cartridge and Rega Aria phono stage. I cannot recommend this combination more highly, and it proves how important synergy is with a vinyl front end. It makes wonderful music with unbelievable boogie factor and sounds much better than the network player.

In terms of my speakers, I have lived with the YG's for 9 months and are absolutely in love with these speakers. This is a speaker for a lifetime, and I am now at a stage where I don't wish for any upgrades save the Esoteric N-05 network player at a later stage. The YG's are the most musical natural lifelike speakers that I have ever owned, and they play anything well from heavy metal to the most intimate acoustic stuff. Everybody that listened to these speakers cannot believe how full these speakers sound at low volumes. Even at very low volume one still experience the feeling of a live event.

Below some pics of the updated system
