Default Grandioso Review in New TAS

Check out the Grandioso review by Alan Taffel. It’s quite positive though a few things struck me as odd. Why audition the 4 box set and not make use of a clock, I.e., the G1? Also, the reviewer seems to favor his Goldmund gear similar to how he favored his “Metaphor 1” speakers in last months review though I can find no information about them. As a reference or benchmark he is using some rather obscure stuff which is not very informative.

Well, I'm not finding the review. I've been to the TAS web site, the search box is not returning any results.

OK, so that means it's not available to read on-line? I need to buy the magazine, right?

New reviews by TAS are initially only in their magazine (print or online versions for sale) but in time are generally made available online for free.

I added an Esoteric Grandioso G1 Clock to my system yesterday to go with my Esoteric Grandioso K1 Player. I’m using the Shunyata Sigma 50 Ohm Clock cable.

I had the Grandioso G1 Clock on all day yesterday. It has already smoothed out some, compared to when I first turned it on yesterday morning. The G1 has already improved clarity, articulation and bass response. Imaging is more holographic as well. I can’t wait until the G1 and Sigma clock cable are fully burned in.

Thanks for making the dream a reality, Ivan!

Ken
