Perusing the exhibitors list I see what you mean. Not one of the speakers (six different makers, two from NYC) I'm wanting to hear is listed. Better (and less expensive) to spend the day at Lyric and Audio Connection listening.

Legacy will be there, the main draw for me. Martin-Logan as well. There will be ample opportunity to pick up discs, too, what with Classic Records, Acoustic Sounds, and Chesky. The experience will be worth it, I'm hoping.

Kal I well know that you understand.

My comments were more for those who can't fathom why all the high end companies aren't at every show.

I went yesterday, in an abbreviated visit due to circumstances. My takeaways: I still want a a pair of Legacy Focus SEs but don't see a path to buying them; I can get a Marantz SA-10 for a really good price (and might just replace my MCD301 with it); I would need a house to own the Martin-Logan Rennaissance ESL 15A (Frankie Goes to Hollywood proved that); and Cambridge Audio makes nice, easy to listen to gear.

Just arrived home from the city.
The show was fun. 3 floors with 5 to ten exibiters on each floor.
It was 4 or 5 people deep in each room.
Some guy with a video camera kept walking into rooms and going to the front of everyone.😒
As my wife and I would patiently wait for a seat along the wall of a room 3 other joker's would walk in in front of everyone.😠
I have not been to a show before so I have nothing to compare the experience with, but I was there for maybe 2 hours and had my fill.
I listened to a few great systems but people were noisy and walking around etc.I really doubt I gained any insight as to what gear was great.
I will have to try another show sometime to see if the experience is any better.

I had a nice dinner afterwards. Indian food at a new (to me) restaurant on 9th Avenue.

At the show, I saw Steve Guttenberg and Herb Reichert (looked and sounded like him, anyway). As for the gear, If I had the space and money I'd be willing to reconsider my antipathy for powered speakers and give some Martin-Logans a chance. The Legacy Aeris is awesome, but I'd still prefer the Focus SE. It's unfortunate that with the last price increase they've been placed out of my reach. The Signature SE is still good and worth consideration; then those Bryston Model Ts are out there as well, for about the same money. If I were just starting out, I think I'd be inclined toward Cambridge Audio gear. I liked the sound of that room.
