But I do have a question: for your really large living room, wouldn't you take a speaker that is a little bit bigger than the one you're thinking of? I mean with the larger woofer, e.g. the Altec 416A or even the 515B. These would allow you to go down to 20 Hz and really do move more air. Or am I simplifying too much? Anyhow, the money from the Harbeths will be more than enough to cover the expenses for the new speakers.
Bart,
You 're not simplifying too much. I am leading towards the use of a GPA 414 because it can be loaded in a smaller cabinet than the Petite Latour.
The Petite Latour will be too big visually for the living room.
But the idea of a 416 in a cabinet like the Valencia is very tempting.

Mike, Carlos, thanks.
The efficiency is about 96 dB.

I'm sad to not have been there with you, it seemed like a great evening. I'd love to listen to the new speakers although the last time I did that it cost me a lot of money

Jérome, you have a great place. Well done with the move.

Jerome, just read this thread. Wow! Spectacular systems you have there and I am sure they sound wonderful! I am happy to see you have continued your jouney with Shindo gear! I remember being so amazed when I got to experience some of it in my own systems with the few different Tannoy speakers then. Enjoy my friend!

Along with the others who have posted, I thoroughly enjoyed the tour of Jerome's tremendous assortment of systems and thanks to Bart for sharing.

Bart, with your permission,
Here is a pic of the living room system with a better perspective :

Thank you Serge,

As you know, Alberto and you were the two friends who made me dive into Shindo.
And I will always be grateful to you for that.
Shindo's music is a dream. I will never part with mine.
