Shunyata New USB Cables

I have been extremely busy this year so far, but today finally made some chair time listening to my Burmester/Aida/Grandioso Rig (my most expensive reference system).

This is the rig that my new Shunyata Sigma USB Cable has been installed in. I have been streaming through this cable 24/7 since it was installed. I’m not one to really gush about many things. When I began listening today to my rig playing simple RedBook FLAC, I was so emotionally moved by the sound quality reproduction/improvement, I was absolutely stunned!

This is unquestionably the single biggest upgrade from a single cable that I ever experienced in my life. That is one Gigantic Statement; I was so moved, that I went straight for my phone and was going to personally call Caelin and express my feelings, and thank him and his company for the extreme dedication to our hobby in creating such an Amazing USB Cable.

Then, I realized he deserved so much more than just a phone call, hence this post today. Most everyone here already knows that I’m a huge fan of WireWorld Cables. Their Flagship USB is the Platinum Starlight 7; I was recently informed that the Series 8 USB Cables will not be released this year.

All that said, Shunyata has broken new boundaries in USB Cable Transmission technology. Everything about the music, imaging, detail, finesse, width, depth, height, clarity and most of all emotion has improved immensely.

I am still in a bit of the awe stage, I have approached this system as a work in progress and cost no object. Many of the last upgrades/tweaks that I have done in the last 1 to 2 years have done little to nothing. Almost as if I have hit maximum velocity.

That boundary has now been shattered! I am very excited to get more Sigma USB Cables into my other systems. The cost of this cable at $2K is completely irrelevant, at least to me. The ROI return on investment is so far beyond the cost, I simply couldn’t be happier!

Kudos once again Caelin, Grant, and Shunyata. Undoubtedly, this is an Award Winning Cable.
