Sound is obviously the most important thing to consider. Im just thinking it would sound just as good without the sticker

I'm sure they could accommodate.

The Twenty logo looks like crap - mine is sitting in the bag it came in.

There is a very nice review of the KX-R Twenty in the December issue of Stereophile by ohns Atkinson.

I got my KX-R upgraded to Twenty last month. Straight out of the box it sounded "bright" and rough. I left it turned on for 24 hours, only then it sounded nice again. The sound signature of the Twenty is quite different and need a little getting used to. But it seems to have better definition on details and timbre. It really shines with Classical Music....... I left the house for 2 weeks with the KX-R Twenty unpowered and the same thing happened.
Dealer also quickly upgraded my MX-Rs to allow me to play with all upgraded "Twenty" components. I am pretty happy with the results. (Audio) Last edited by Audio Lee; 11-27-2014 at 11:12 PM. |

The biggest change I noticed in the KX-R Twenty was a more palpable sense of location among artists on good recordings and a complete elimination of a bit of harshness the KX-R had on high frequencies.
Listener fatigue is now zero. |
