Electronics for the B & W Signature?
Hello!
I wonder if there is anyone who can help me with ideas or have experience of electronics to my B&W Signature? I have had them connected to the Classé M-400, CP-700 and CDP-202, but these units are now sold. Now I want to have electronics that are only going to play digital from the computer (server), I also want it to be more minimalistic than before, but it should get the speakers to blossom even more than before if possible. With the hope of many ideas / byZan |

I've never auditioned the Signature Series, but I have listened to the 801D paired with McIntosh amp and preamp. It love that combo. If I need new speakers, 801D and XRT1K are top of my list.

Accuphase and B&W always play in good harmony. Are you sure about replacing your 800D's? They're IMHO in a different league!

And that second room will be as interesting. At my dealer, B&W is often demonstrated with Accuphase. The integrated E-450 should be more than sufficient and is not too expensive. Think of McIntosh's MA-7000 too. Bart

I have the McIntosh 60th Anniversary C22 and MC75s with my Signature Diamond speakers and it's fantastic. I went from the McIntosh MC501s to the small tube amps which gave the speakers a smoother sound without loosing any of the great detail or imaging of the MC501s. I really like tube amps with the Signature Diamond speakers. I would like to hear the MC2301s with my speakers but I really don't want 16 KT88 tubes heating up my listening room.

Thanks Dave,
It does infact sound very sweet. I've had 7 sets of speakers in my main listening room in the last 10 years and the Signature Diamond speakers are best suited to my listening habits and listening expectations. I usually listen at low volumes (65-75db) and I love hearing great imaging and detail, the Signature Diamond speakers are the best I've heard for these parameters.
