I'll chime in here about the Spin Clean. It's a great value. It does a pretty good job at cleaning the records. I have acquired about 1,000 used albums in the last 3 months. I'd say about 85% of the used albums treated were good after only one cleaning. There's about 5% that the Spin Clean simply can't get clean enough. That's a pretty good hit rate in my book. Now if you don't have tons of dirty records, the Spin Clean will probably satisfy. I've only managed to clean about 350 thus far.

I have opted to go with a Clearaudio cleaner because the Spin Clean is just too time consuming for large volumes. It takes about 4-5 mins per record, from cleaning to drying. I want a silent, set and forget, cleaner. For $80 bucks you can't go wrong with the Spin Clean. I still use it selectively until my CA unit drops. Hope this helps.

Reg...where are you sourcing your used LPs from. A 1000 in 3 months is quite impressive

I've been on a mission since buying my first TT 3 months ago. I source my used locally (NYC stores). I basically go in and swoop up everything that I'm familiar with that I can carry to my car (normally 75-100). I've been going about once a week. Jeff (tonepub) gave me a kickstart by selling me a bunch as well.

I've pretty much been scouring online sources as well (SoundStageDirect.com, MusicDirect, Acoustic Sounds etc.) for my new product.
