Default Snell Type A Series III

OK, so my neck really hurts and I haven't been laid on this damn ship in a long time, so I just made an offer for a pair of Snell Type A Series III's to complete my retro system. Did I do OK?

Here is the system:

Oracle with Black Widow
Marovskis MIT
GAS Thaedra
GAS Ampzilla
Nak 1000

Bob.......The Snell Type A Series III speaker is an oldie but a goodie. On a speaker that is 26+ years old it most likely could stand to have the crossovers recapped. I auditioned Snell speakers a long time ago but honestly can't remember what their sound was like. Are you shipping these home or keeping them onboard?

Hey guys - I didn't realize they were that old! I guess I am getting old! I don't mind fixing them up. The pair I found looks almost brand new and are currently being used. I heard the really old Series 1 a million years ago with Conrad Johnson gear and always wanted some. I have a fetish for old stuff. These are definitely going home!

Bob, those speakers look mint from your picture. I have the newer Snell LCR7XL's in my HT system and love them. Too bad this fine American made speaker company went out of businness.

I was a Snell dealer back in the day. The AIII was (and still is) an EXCELLENT speaker. One of my favorite speakers of all time.

They do indeed look really nice and well taken care of. I think you did WONDERFUL!
