Marantz MA500 Monoblock
Just pick one up today and going to use it for my center channel, Has anyone have experience with this amp and are they descent amp? Thanks.

Congratulations.
From other forums, it's highly rated. Should be a nice addition to your system. There is someone I am thinking of who uses 3-5 of them on his system and enjoys them very much. I'll see if I can remember his name.

Thanks joe, it'll be cool to know who he is. Last night, I hooked up the MA500 and to my surprise, they sounded excellent. I'm so glad I bought this, it's perfect for my center channel and I love how compact it is too.

Also picked up marantz ma 500, for my center channel driving SF Liuto Smart. Got it cheaply. So far sounds good. Hope it will last.

I'm thinking about getting two more for my surround channel, right now I'm using NAD 2100 for my surround.

Update: I bought another one from Jeffrey Behr which makes a total of three now. Each of my rear channel now has its own MA500. The sound is superb, The MA500 really are made for high-end HT system, I highly recommend it.
