802 Nautilus and Ohms
Hi, i have a 802N
Today, i check today a Ohms with my tester and i see 4.9 ohms this is normal ? In a manual i see: 8 ohms |

An ohmeter is not a suitable tool as you need to measure the impedance vs. frequency and not the DC resistance, as you have. That said, the measurement seems normal for DC resistance of an 8 ohm speaker.

The 802 mid driver has always presented a very difficult load so we always vertically biamped them on the salesfloor and tried to implore customers to do likewise.
