I didn't buy new. Therefore, once they settled in - a day or two - they were all systems go.

I have recently bought one Reference xl interconnect, and the rest are Reference. Even with just one xl, the difference in my system is amazing. It was almost like getting better speakers; they simply disappeared. Since I got them new, it took a full three months before they fully worked their wonders.

TA pricing is nuts in Australia. For my system I would need:

1 x Reference XL Speaker Cable (pr) 15 feet $29825
2 x Reference XL Balance Cable (pr) 1m $17830ea

That's $65,485.00

Only way I could justify the jump is 2nd hand or a new room which allowed me to use shortly SC lengths or both.

I would be grateful for a little advice from any TA aficionados as to the provenance of the bayonet termination on the following set of Ref XL MM2 SC's ?

I can relate. I LOVE these cables. I with I could upgrade to the Current Gen V cables. Way too expensive - currently. But I've said that before. 😀
