Default Packing N804

I will be moving soon and need to pack my N804. I have the box and inserts, just looking for the proper sequence to follow when packing - I do not want to damage the tweeter housing.

I couldn't find anything here after a quick look, but maybe with more diligent searching, something will come up. Or, just send them an email - I've received good support from B&W via email inquiries.

Good luck with the move!

Thank you for the link JohnK. My owners manuals do not cover this issue.

If you have the original boxes and inserts, it's not a problem. I have moved 802s, 805s, center channel and surrounds several times. They all fit neatly back into their original packaging.

1. Wrap up and set the speaker on bottom foam insert. This the only part that is hard to do alone although I have done it. Make sure the spikes are removed. The trick is to bring it down straight or you will ruin the foam piece.
2. Make sure both ends of the box are open
3. Slide in box over the top with the bottom flaps splayed open
4. With the open top slide in the front and rear rectangular foam pieces
5. Then slide in the left and right foam pieces
6. Slide in the top foam piece make sure to line up the tweeter housing
7. Tape shut the top
8. Slowly tip the box to the side making sure to support the botton foam so it doesn't slide out.
9. Tape the bottom up.
