I have an older Koetsu Pro-!V (Pro Mk-IV) cartridge - once the top of their line, (Still being manufactured, and sold as the Koetsu Rosewood Signature Platinum Cartridge) that I bought new in 1994 and still use on a regular basis. (second cantilever). I've been very surprised that like the Energizer Bunny. . . . . .

Anyway, I'm using the Koetsu in a second system and the phono stage is a Mark Levinson No. 25s - also an oldie, but definitely a goody.

I also have a Pass X-Ono phono stage that does exceptionally well with the Koetsu cartridge. The Koetsu cartridges are so good that "any old phono stage" will probably do. . . . .

Good Luck

Mikey likey, but Mikey didn't buy one...

I owned a Rhea and it was not that great. Lots of trouble getting the perfect combinations of low noise tubes. Loved the interface and the fact that it will acommodate 3 turntables. But long term it had issues. Not the first one I'd choose.

If you only need one phono input, I'd highly suggest the new AVID Pulsare...
