I think it took 100 hours or so. But in my case it went in steps as far as SQ. The first 5-10 hours makes a hough difference. Then it was a steady climb for 30 hours when I hit a plateau. Then after 50-60 hours, another step upward and so on. Good luck.

I had to laugh at myself for asking this question. Is it the speakers or is it me breaking-in to them Until this week I just played music at normal (for me) levels and saw some (small) improvement, then I played my Esoteric break-in disc for a day and feel this made a significant improvement. Hopefullly they continue to get better !!!

Tom, you could always set it on repeat and stay away from it for a week, then you would know.

Tom.......It took my Anniversario's about 300 hours to truly hit their stride. The improvements were incremental, barely perceptible as time progressed, but as time passed they became more and more musical. There is only one way to break in speakers, play them.

Yep play baby play... What a way to go huh
My 2 cents even on all the systems I built seems the mid woofers and woofers need some serious playing to just to loosen up, that said even the tweeters and all the parts of the crossover circuits need well north of 200 hours. It seems you will notice some improvement in the it's 50-75 hours then after that I think like Dan that is a steady gradual improvement over many hours. So play them and I mean drive with decent loads too. Sent from my iPad using A.Aficionado |
