Michael, it sounds like a wonderful weekend.

Enjoy it!

It's great being with loved ones, but I treasure the time that I have by myself. It allows me to relax, contemplate, listen to music at any volume and hour of the day or night and generally do exactly what I want without having to please or answer to anyone. Time alone is all mine.

Gary, I totally agree. You have just described my weekend. No turn it down, what time did you go to sleep or are you sure you need another glass of wine comments. As much as I love my family time alone is now precious.

I agree, guys. It was a nice weekend to do whatever I dang well pleased, when I pleased and how I pleased.

I almost felt as if my space was being invaded when the Mrs. returned home yesterday afternoon.

I did not say that ^^^ and will plead the Fifth...as soon as I get another fifth!

Every few months my wife goes out west to visit her family for a couple of weeks. Good all around.
She gets to spend time with her Mom and sister. I get to live like I did when I was single and just when that gets old she comes home.
Perfect situation!
