Default Mc box storage

Might be the wrong place for this post BUT...what does everyone do with all their huge boxes???? They are a magnet for spiders, insects and can warp in humidity. Side note, all of my stuff is still boxed up. Everything. I changed rack plans (sent them back) and ordered a Salamander quad wide. Waiting for delivery. The wife just asked #1 when are the boxes going OUT to the trash and #2 More importantly...how much has all of this really cost. I tried telling her "ok, ok, just a few thousand, like maybe 3 I think total" and as many of you know my MX122 will be delivered next week so more is on the way, plus another/more amps. I'm in trouble guys!

Yup, you are SOL.

Eventually she will find out what it cost. You should have had a pre-nup stating that the money was earned by you and was all yours, leaving her with nothing to say about it, except maybe whining about why more wasn't spent on her.

I almost forgot.

I store all my boxes in a dedicated area of the basement.

and the cost was just a few thousand??? THREE is the lowest number you can ascribe to "a few".

You're in trouble, buster!

When it comes to answering what things cost, I tell people, "my lawyer, accountant and psychiatrist have advised me not to say," but that probably won't work with your wife.

Break the boxes down and strap them together then put the inserts in garbage bags. Much easier to store in the attic/basement. Don't forget to label the inserts using masking tape and a Sharpie. As to the money part that depends on what you said to start with.

Oh...forgot to mention that my wife has 2 Masters degrees, one of which just happens to be in forensic accounting. So yeah, it won't be long before she Google searches all the model numbers. Gary said it best, I really am SOL. Jack, thanks for the tip on storing the boxes.

Yeah it won't be long. She may just be waiting to see what your answer is and already has found out. I've just learned to tell close to the truth with realistic discounts or at worst the used price. A new set of subs were delivered today and I just gave it up to start with, much easier in the long run.
