I feel a good remote is one of the keys to enjoyment of the product and while this has nothing to do with sound quality I am always adjusting sound levels and appreciate a very easy to use remote.

I tend to agree. I have MS and can't just keep getting up and down to adjust or change things. Currently selling off all my analog gear because of this. A top remote is key to me.

I agree definitely. Ergonomics is important. I should consider selling off some of my extraneous remotes on the 'Gon.

An area of weakness for many high-end companies. Hopefully, they are listening to their customers on this. Is the primary reason I'm no longer listening to vintage gear. Most all is remoteless.

If anyone wants the Ayre brick remote, please let me know as I have one that is basically new as I have never used it. Came with my AX5, but I use a universal remote and now I will sometimes just use the one that came with my QX5/20.

A bit of a curveball but can anyone tell me why my Ayre C-5xeMP defaults to operate instead of standby after a mains supply failure. We've had a couple of short blackouts lately so I have to switch it back to standby everytime.
