TT Setup
With a test record, you can use the 'Level' mode on the MPI 4 to set azimuth by playing an L only track and looking at the level of the R channel, and vice versa. You adjust azimuth so that the off side levels are as low as possible and also matched. This is what the Fozgometer does.
To set anti skate, put the MPI 4 in 'Stereo' mode and then at the highest velocity anti-skate track on the record. Adjust anti-skate for the straightest line.* Sorry if I geeked out on you.  . I like the looks of the MPI-4 but since I don't have a pointable yagi antenna, I can't use it for tuning and multipath, so not a lot of value for me. Tom *There are much better ways to adjust anti-skate, usually by ear, or with a distortion analyzer.

You ought to get one - definitely a cool piece of gear that would complement your MR78, which has the dedicated outputs to drive it. I have considered one for our lake home, where all the stations I listen to on my MR80 are fringe - 60 to 100 miles away.

No. The MR510 was the last McIntosh tuner to have scope outputs. The MX117 was the last Tuner/Pre-Amp to have the scope outputs.
