No issues today with either Rhapsody or music on the MC200. It did take the MS200 a little longer than everything else to come back on line.

I believe the solution to the dropout is in the ip addresses for the Sooloos pieces...you have to remove and reenter them. Also if they are reserved addresses in the router you need to reenter those as well.....I can't post over at HH anymore but I wish I could. I think this would help those that have the dropout resolve it.

Mine went flawless as well. I have reserved the DHCP adresses to the sooloos cores/endpoint in the wireless router config and put sooloos equipment on a separate 8-port switch with a linear PSU.

Aww man, just when I had come to terms with the notion of after market LPSs, now I have to grapple with "medical grade SMPS" Learn something new every day.

Thanks, Crion, good to know. I run core on an MD600 at the moment and I have not yet upgraded.

Well, according to Teddy Pardo the 12/4 LPSU had distorsion when pulling near max 3-4A and it got real hot.

The medical grade SMPS Teddy Pardo 12/4.5 have superior distorsion numbers when pulling 3A+.

I have both versions but I put the LPSU/Transformer design on the 8-port switch since the device is rated 1A. And its almost cool to the touch now.

The 2A models and below still use LPSU/Transformer designs.

C

Are you still using the GISO on your Sooloos end point (ID41)?
I'm finding that with the change to CAT7, maybe the Sooloos sounds better without it....

Yup GISO GB is connected, will retest after my Triton v2's arrive and settles in. But previously every test proved its worth.

Did you try out the AQ Vodka on a lane?
