As of which one I'd recommend I'm afraid it's a personal matter. If I'd have the budget I'd go with the 105. It has better DACs meaning it'll sound better. It has Spdif inputs so you can actually use it as an external DAC. Basically a digital preamp. So that's great. The 103 is also feature packed and about half the price, so I suggest you look into it also. Both have great reviews from most owners.

Thanks again, I'll go with the $500 one. It's really just an add on that I won't use often at all.
