So I picked up a C500T this afternoon after living with a demo unit for a day and a half. Should be arriving in less than two weeks. Thankfully my OCD made me to buy 8 GL tubes when I purchased my C2300 so I'll slap those puppies in when my unit arrives. Initial impressions are VERY favorable - IMO not subtle at all in favor of the C500T. Time will tell.

My dealer also gave me a super clean deal on a pair of demo Contour 3.4s that I could not pass up. After hearing them paired with a C2300 and MC275 Anniversary I thought it worked pretty nicely (soundstage was low and missing in some aspects but great sound for the price).

I suppose I am a good boy after all .
