Lately, Melinda and I have been hooked on a few TV series that we completely missed because we both loath watching TV with commercials. These are usually not of the serious or violent type, since we both just want some gentle entertainment to relax to at the end of the day. What's fun is that you get to watch several episodes back-to-back if you are piqued by the one you just watched. You can find these on Netflix. There are a few that get a little tedious, so we drop those, but for the most part they are entertaining. These in addition to the popular ones, such as Downtown Abbey. I found House of Cards entertaining, too, but a little too full of itself.

I am hooked on the series SUITS, and I am watching the final episode from season 1 as I type this, streaming for free from Amazon Instant Video Prime.
A really good show about a high powered NY lawyer who plays LP's in his office !!!!!
