I would think the RCA to XLR would function no different than the RCA connection when I comes to the supersymmetry. Unlike some balanced designs I believe the pass actually utilizes a balanced signal for the patented results. At the price point of the new pass amps I have no idea why you would not want it functioning to its full.

I don't understand why you won't get results with single ended. I mean why design an amp like that? Anyway, I'll ask the boys at Pass Labs what's up. Thanks for your comments.

I've read Papa himself state that the single ended connection is a little noisier (due to the ground's connection to the negative pole), but the sonic signature is the same, still uses the SuperSymmetry circuit.
