That's what I've heard. Hopefully my local ARC store will not be too mad at me for buying the Pass Labs. They are also my Bryston dealer and I had hinted about buying a 4B-SST2. They're usually pretty forgiving, but I'll probably have to cover the wine tab when we go out to dinner next time.

X150.5 has arrived and been setup without much trouble. Replaced the MIT bananas with the supplied spades (screw on). Played a couple of selections as I was curious and was quite pleased out of the box. A couple of the passages on Tchaikovsky's 6th symphony took it to the limits of class A but it was quite thrilling. Just giving it 24 hrs. to sort of get settled. Looks nice in the rack.

Congratulations Jack! The X150.5 is a terrific amp in both sound quality and build quality. I hope it brings you much enjoyment.

Best,
Ken

I've owned the X150.5 with X2.5 preamp for last 5 years. They sounded beautiful but sad that they will be going for sale soon as I've fallen in love with Shindo Lab system.
