Have a pair of Vienna Acoustic Speakers. I just today discovered the came with spikes. Should I use them? Why?

If they are on carpet I would say yes. The spikes will give you better isolation. Only reason to not use them would be if you were worried about damaging your floor. The more you can isolate any audio component the better!

I use them with my speakers in the loft, which is carpet over plywood, but not my main system which is carpet over concrete. |

Are you worried about damaging your concrete floor? I thought that spikes were always used for carpet over concrete. Am I wrong?

Actually I just didn't want to dull/ruin the points using them on the concrete.
