Guess the next thing to do is to hear them in a familiar system, with familiar tracks, and shooting them out with other cables.

But I think any member considering handing over their hard earned cash should be armed with all the facts. Personally, if I liked the sound of Zensati cables I would simply buy the wire for a fraction of the price from Jinwei or Ebay and get my AE to reterminate them with the fancy bits like that guy from Zensati and call it a day. But that's just me

I have heard the same info from another source (also an industry member). Not sure of the name of the company they are buying the raw cable though.
