Thanks for the reply. Yes I currently have a space issue as well for the next year until I do some remodeling, that lead me to the 452. Maybe best if I just wait. If I get lucky I’ll get a raise at work and just skip the 611’s and go straight to the MC2301’s. I think that is wishful thinking though

Currently using the MC302, the 611 is a wish list but due to space contrains i might opt for the MC462 instead.. We shall see..

Nice [emoji106] soundslikemusic. The MC462 makes every speaker set I have connected truly sing. Just last night I disconnected B&W 804s and connected a pair of Omega Super 3i’s 94.5db into 8ohms, single driver RS5 with two subs, an incredible Match. Fast drivers fast Amplifier so ever Musical.

So I checked with a local McIntosh dealer and they are still selling the MC452 but I take it the MC462 is slated to take it's place?

Yes, as I understand MC462 will replace the MC452.
