I have just taken advantage of a Music Direct sale to order some Audioquest King Cobra. It will replace Kimber Hero for all my front end connections. This is an impulse buy, essentially; I had no such plans. But my experience with the KC and Hero in direct comparison as a pre/power connection revealed the KC has a fuller sound, more on the bottom. Add in the price and I went for it. In fact, I'm going to pull out the two pair I have lying idle and connect them soon, then the others when they arrive.
