Complete National Movie Registry
I know the Congressional Library keeps a complete "movie registry" of all the films ever produced. I'm curious if all the movies are/were transferred from media to media over the last 130 years? Is it possible they all still exist to be viewed or have some of them been lost forever? That would be sad.

This is the "earliest" moving picture of our history. Or at the very least the earliest "surviving" footage when the celluloid photographic film became available in lengths to allow the possibility of capturing moving scenes.
