For the BMW folks among us. Plenty of BMW watches out there, mostly with ironic Japanese/Chinese movements. But, went with this one, which appears to be "all Swiss". Like the original 'speedometer' face and fact it is only 38mm, which fits my wrist much better than the massive things most are selling these days.

Just picked up this micro brand out of CA. Fell in love with the color so had to buy it.

Nice watch Glenn, be careful with the Japanese quartz, remember they(Seiko) started it all fifty years ago ! Seiko's recently introduced 9F calibre movement under the Grand Seiko brand boasts sub 10 sec per year accuracy. As for the raining quartz benchmark, the Longines Conquest V.H.P. is said to produce accuracy of 5 second per year !

No problem with Japanese movements here. Just want something to match my Germany automobile (and Switzerland is close). All my quartz movements are Swiss (am guessing they are all ETA regardless of the name on the face) while all my wife's are likely Japanese. Especially like the Citizen Eco that charges thru the translucent face (when she doesn't put away in her jewelry box - have to set the time/date half-dozen time a year).

Dave go check out Nodus watches. This has a very unique case design. I had a Rolex green sub and sold it because I didn’t care for the shade of green. This Avalon is like a military olive drab and they offer a few other colors too.

Marty - don't see any that are BMW labelled or quartz movements.
