I think I have succeeded, in stop changing equipment.

In 2018, Magico Q7 Mk I remained, with wonderful QPod added. Gryphon Mephisto
Stereo is still there, but connected via Opus G5 sc. Source is now a very musical
AYON CD-36 Signature CD/SACD Player. Oh and PS Audio P15 power conditioner is
coming in a few months.
on the HT side, I moved from Marantz AV8003 to 8802A and now 8805. with OPPO 203
as source and will be soon replaced by Pioneer UDP LX800. Projector is now JVC RS640.
That are all the changes I made since 2015.

Toga

Toga, good to have you back!

A question. You had the Accuphase 900 series.
How does your tube SACD player compares to these please?
It retails for 4 times less here in Europe!

Hi Bart, glad to hear from you.
I bought three Ayon CD Players altogether, started from CD1SX, CD35 Signature and CD10. Even CD1SX sound very musical. Accuphase 900/901 had less meat and more
solidstate sounding, as they should, but more details. I still have them side by side the
CD35. One thing Ayon fail big time is the way it play SACD disc. it adds a second of silence
between tracks, that affect opera and classical music so badly.

And just talk about no change of main equipments for year, but just yesterday.
I had new amplifier installed, on loan only, I will never be able to afford them.
But I have to say, these amps are really fantastic. so effortless, so detailed, silky, detailed
and so neutral sounding. I had tried something like The Momentum, Burmester 909, I think
Moon 888 are way better. No other way to show the picture, but here

I need your advice.

I also purchased Mephisto + Q3. Digital side is dCS.

I can't decide on a Pre. How was your Pandora experience?

Cheers.
So sorry for way too late reply. But here it is.
I tried Pandora twice. I didnt' like that it need two power cords.
and it sound too lean for my liking. the display was way too dim and small.
Not my favourite. My favourites are
Pass XP20, XS Pre
Soulution 725
ARC Reference 6
Burmester 808 V5 <---- the best sounding for me.

Ayon Cd35 Signature is new baby, Moon 888 are not (yet).
Moon 888 will require two 20A power cords, and two custom size
CMS amp stands. This makes me having to think more than twice.
Thanks.

I also like the acoustical treatment in front of the Gryphon.
I might still have a couple in my basement, will try them out!

Thanks so much, oh yes and I really did inform about new actual baby hahaha. Thank you once again.
She is 1 month old now. And a sleepless night causing by her crying was way longer than a sleepless night I used to have when I got new gears.
Despite I told them I am very busy with the baby, dealer insisted in sending Moon888, then I had to find the short 2 hours period at late night while baby was sleeping to blast my Magico. Dont worry listening room is well isolated.

They worked like Synergistic MIGs haha. But actually thy were split
and put in front of both ARC. Had to move them once Moon took their space.
So soundstage changed quite a bit. haha.
