Very happy so far. I really like the synergy of the ARC LS27 and the DS450 with the Salons. Break in in progress.

I took some pictures yesterday but was not able to load them in the site. I assume files were too large.

Bill,

The system continues to evolve. I'm very pleased with the clarity, soundstage and image focus I'm hearing. Also, one of my original concerns was with the DS450's ability to drive the Salon 2s - not an issue. It has plenty of power and punch for those hungry speakers. Certainly filling the room with very nice music without any strain.

Several weeks ago, I replaced the wires - PCs, ICs, SPs - with the new Shunyata Black Mamba line. This change increased the audio performance of the system.

Lastly, I haven't been able to do a lot of listening lately. So, I'm stuck with approx. 150 hrs in the new system. This means I still have a lot of break in time ahead - at least according to ARC.

Thanks,
Mike
