Default ref 110 reset of tube hrs

I'm about to swap out the tubes in my pair of ref110's for some KT120's. Does anyone have any experience with the reset of the tube hrs display ? I noticed that there is a 'reset' button next to it. Just press it ? Press it & hold for ? seconds ?

Regards,
Joe Ling

Sorry for the poor pic. Lazy to take off the cover

My amp was sent in for service when it was retubed and the timer reset, so not sure, but I imagine it would probably be press and hold down until the counter resets to zero to defend against an accidental resetting of the timer by an unintended pressing of the button. Easy enough to confirm by asking your dealer or calling ARC.

Hi Jo, I just replaced my tubes to K120s a week ago. All you do is press the reset button and it resets the timer to zero. Hold it for a second or so. Also remember to re-bias the tubes as well, mine we all close, but did require a bit of adjustment. You will enjoy the difference the tubes make. Tim

Thanks guys, this is good info. As they are, the pair already making magic. I can't imagine what a whole bunch of kt120s will do.
