Exactly -- there is alot of hoodooo out there -- some work as claimed and some don't. These do change the acoustics as I've mentioned. Their design doesn't do it for me & would rather try a Ming Aralia or similiar behind the speakers; which definitely has more WAF.

The best hallograph experience I had was walking into the Physics dept of college in the mid 70's. A girl was blowing a kiss in the hallograph.....................

Bob.......I think I can safely say that anything placed in a room with speakers will change the acoustics in some manner. Adding a plant, a chair, a coffee table, literally anything, and the acoustics will be altered. You might get lucky and have the change be positve, then again maybe not. You don't even have to add something to a room, just rearrange what is in the room, and the acoustics will be different.

I believe the question was "what's the scoop on these." To which I threw my 2 cents out there since I've heard these (along with their stones).

No itchy fingers, just tossing my two cents worth into the conversation. I wasn't challenging your audition of the Shakti Hallographs. I have never heard them, or not heard them, which ever the case might be. I haven't experienced the stones, either. I was just commenting on room acoustics in general, that's all.
