Default Major system change

After long deliberation I have made the decision to change my entire living room sound system to Audio Research and Esoteric. I will be installing the ARC Ref 10 preamplifier and a pair of ARC Ref 250 power amplifiers in place of my McIntosh C2300 and MC601's. The MCD1100 will be replaced with a new Esoteric K-03. I am also replacing the MR85 tuner with a new Magnum Dynalab MD108 T, and the MS750 will be replaced with a Aurender S10 music server. The two PS Audio Power Plant Premier's will also be replaced with a pair of PurePower 2000+ power conditioners. I may even consider replacing the PMC EB1i's with a pair of SF Futura's. It is time for a completely new direction.

Wow !
Dan, this is a change !
Did you actually hear the Ref 10 and the Ref 250 or is it a blind buy ?

Even though this is an April fools joke....it would be a very smart move! Come hear my REF10 and REF250's and you will know what a great move this would be!

Funny April fools joke though. You should have added the DAC2X and CAPS 3.0 instead of the Esoteric.

Salon 2's instead of the Futura's? (even I wouldn't agree with that one. The Futuras are better!)

Now...if you had said Classe....it would have been a dead giveaway!

Mayonnaise actually rates surprisingly well as a thermal conductor & has been used as a substitute to conventional CPU thermal compounds.

You guys know me too well.

I am a dyed in the wool McIntosh aficionado. There's no way I would make the amplifier and preamplifier changes, but the rest of the components sound interesting to me. None the less, I'm not touching the living room sound system. It sounds fabulous.

Just making sure you guys are awake and paying attention.
