Reference 750 demo-ed today

Many years ago, I briefly listened to the 610T + Ref3 + S/F Strad in the dealer's showroom and liked their sound. The 750 must really be something special.

Unfortunately, I'm not a Magico owner, and I don't think I can ever afford to be. Fortunately, as I mentioned earlier, my two friends have the Q5 and Q3, so I could listen to thses awesome speakers from time to time.

You seem to have quite a wish list of great speakers to try. Well, cone/dynamics speakers are not my cup of tea; coincidentally, a frugal audiophile like me goes for Magnepan krub.

Magnepan is great speakers and especially with Audio Research.
By the way, have you home been flooded ? I removed all stereo set away for 4 months,
and once reconnect, they sounded harsh for a week. based on ARC tube counter, they need a full 60 hours to become smooth again. May be that big capacitors in ARC pre amp need burn in once again. Time for bed. Nice to have you joined us.

Dafos, may I suggest you find that answer from Magnepan forum.
His system is very interesting. He use same pre amp as I do.
