Same thing, Telefunken Black Diamonds. To my ears, the BDs had the best overall balance in my setup. I liked the Gold Lions, but the BDs have more bottom and sound a bit more dynamic, which works better since my stereo doubles as a home theater.

Also in the line stage, the JJ Hi-Performance tubes had a fuller sound with more bottom, but compared to the BDs were warmer as well. I'm comfortable with the BDs, and it's been so long that I'm not sure how I'd adjust to something else in the 2300 now.
