About A23 speakers : I would love to listen to them. Phy drivers are awesome, especially the 21cm. But no dealer in France. I would have to go to Francfurt.

Just curious did you phone Steve in New York about the silver backs or did you just email? I have bought my shindo pre and power amps as well as my devores from Steve all with great success.
No I filled the contact form on his web site.
The SilverBacks are no more in my mind now anyway.

I've had a pair of speakers using the 21cm phy-hp for about 7 years. They are currently in the Shindo system. Greatly prefer them to the Tannoys.

Indeed. All A23 speakers are now made with Line Magnetic Audio drivers. There are three models to choose from, all are on the A23 website (well the German part anyway).

I was told that the manufacturer of the Solovox driver passed away and that A23 is working on some designs around Line Magnetic drivers. Perhaps these are the ones Neil mentioned are already posted.

If you can still get the Solovox let me know because I would be interested as well.
