Mc Pre amp needs stereo trigger. So.....I will have to figure it out on the pass side. Should be no biggie.

Default 12 volt trigger

From my measurements on a Pass X250.5...... any voltage between 7vdc and 15vdc at about 5ma was good to go for the remote trigger.

The front panel switch on the Pass amp had to be selected for "stand-by" for the remote trigger to function.

To turn on my Mc601 amps I got a radioshack 3 conductor 1/8" (3.5MM) phone jack, and wired ground to ground and plus to tip of the stereo jack. You need to use a stereo jack if you want the meters to illuminate. Then connect the plus side to the +12 and ground to the ground of the Pass XP-20 pre amp it has a connector on the back that looks like speaker connectors. then connect the Mac amps with 1/8 " stereo cables. The remote has a ext amp on as the XP - 20 is on all the time. I used this set up so if I use the Mac C220 pre I just unplug the cable and plug it into the mac.

here's a pic of what I have used in the past which should work for you.
The stereo minijack goes in preamp trigger. The other end is cut with one lead on one pass amp trigger +ve terminal and one on -ve terminal.

The second cord is simple lamp cord that I've put crudely crimped spades on. One end is connected to the same two terminals of the 1st pass amp and the other end is connected with like terminals on the second pass amp.[IMG][/IMG]

Thanks! I futzed around with it today, but had no luck. I cut the end off a STEREO MINI plug. One cable had copper with some red thread, the other side had copper with a white strip in the middle. I put the red threat on the positive and the other thread (with the white strip) on the black. No luck. I will take pictures tomorrow and send. I wasn't sure if I should strip away the white strip. I'm thinking that's the ground.
