PP 3000 provides 50% more of everything than the PP 2000. This is nothing short of amazing. I'm pretty sure it will not limit dynamics with 75A of peak current.

The 3000 model will be shipping in about 4-5 weeks acording to Purepower and the model 1050 model is now priced at $1995.........

Notice that the APS 3000 power cord is a L5-30 type and must be plugged into a L5-30R wall receptcle.

Does it mean that most household will not be able to use this, unless the wiring, breakers are all rated to 30 amps?

You will need to install a L5-30 receptacle, 30 amp breaker and pull new wire (10 gauge) to accomendate the PurePower 3000......This will be great for the power hungry systems that push the 2000 to its limits forcing the customer two add a second 2000 unit......now with the 3000 unit, many will be able to have this, install the 30 amp line and still have less money invested than two 2000 units.....

Sounds like it's certainly a step-up in supplying that extra power.

Any chance that Purepower would offer sometime in the future an "audiophile version" that includes things like cryo'ed and audiophile grade internal receptacles? I've had the chance to look at the type of stock receptacles used for the APS1050 and APS2000, certainly they can be better and there are a lot of better "audiophile grades" receptacles available out there. Can be a plus point in their marketing too. I'm quite sure some critical audiophiles are willing to pay some premium for this type of options.

I am running a PurePower 2000 in my theater. I have a Bryston 7B, 14B, 2x4B,
Krell S1200, Oppo 83, MS300, Lumagen scaler, cable box and a few other small items such as Lumagen cat5 baluns. The PurePower is nothing short of amazing! Dynamics? OH YEAH!

PurePower already provides installation of different receptacles.....The way it works is the dealer or customer provides the receptacle to be installed in place of the stock one's. I offer this service for my customers that are interested and allow them to choose between Oyaide, Furutech, and Wattgate.....I then provide PurePower the receptacles to be installed and of course there is a bit of price difference between the various types......
