I am on day 2 with my E-650 after having sold my 590AXII. However, I did also just upgrade my speakers from Sonus Faber Elipsa to Stradivari so an apples to apples comparison is not possible. Both amplifiers produce warm smooth music, but I do believe the damping factor of 800 in the E-650 does make a difference. I also like the balanced pre out that the 590 does not have. But the Luxman has an onboard phono input, whereas it is an option for the E-650. Either one is a winner though. Get the Accuphase cost is not a factor. Get the Luxman if the budget is a factor.
